Question, what was your first post, was it to ask a question or was it to contribute to an issue that you felt strongly about.

Oh my goodness, I have no clue! It was sooo long ago. It was back before TBN was TBN as we know it, when it was a Kubota site. I've had my tractor over five years now; I was checking the site out shortly before that.

How did you do the lookup on that? I would guess by "Show All Users Posts"? I never searched that far back before.

Is that old forum or new? I think it must be early TBN, after it evolved from the Kubota version. By that post, I had already put the loader on my B8200. I had the tractor at least a couple years before that.

I just had to look; I grabbed my tractor files... I got my little Kubota 6/27/98. I joined the original forum right around that time; I think I found it just after getting the tractor.

I do not think the old forum linked up with the newer version; it was a different format, and probably totally different data process.

There was some talk on the "News/Feedback" a little while back about post numbers, and old timers. Von, MChalkey, Bird, _RAT_ and a few others were on back then.

It is interesting how this has evolved, hrough various formats, and all the folks that have been here over at least the last six years. Interesting too, seeing the "net" evolve. When I first saw things in '84/85, the only forums were email forums. The "Homebrew Digest" was my first. Someone sent a message to a particular address. From there it bounced to a disti list. Any answers or comments were routed the same way. HBD took all the messages, compiled them, and sent out the digest once a day. That used to be a big deal when that digest would come out.

You wrote that post on 04/13/00, and registered on 4/6/00. If you had to register on the NEW forum, then it's the new.

I used the Show All User's Posts, but tweaked the parameters in the link to make it much faster to find. I found it in about 45 seconds.
