Things are happening late this year this year in my area. Just saw an Oriole today, and the Magnolia tree is now starting to bloom. Both of which had occurred by the first of the month last year.

I've had a feeder out for awhile, but I cleaned and refilled it day before yesterday; still haven't seen a hummer around here.

Spring 2015 Migration of Ruby-throated Hummingbirds

We are running 3-4 weeks later than what we had been. Most of the ground is still covered in snow. Robins are just showing up. Redwings and grackles been here a week now. Hard freeze every night.

When you guys make stew...do you pluck them or skin them ?

Ours show up every year on April 1st. Once again, they where right on time. We only have a few right now, but it wont be long until there are a dozen of them, then close to 2 dozen!!!!

Maybe I haven't seen them because I'm not out where I CAN see them often enough. But anyway, I was out on the patio about 3:45 this afternoon and noticed a hummer at the feeder; too far off for my old eyes to identify, so I came in and got my binoculars, went back out, and sat on the patio for about 20 minutes. Twice during that time, a hummer came to feed a bit; not sure about the first one, but I do know the second time it was a Ruby Throated Hummingbird, may or may not have been the same one each time.

Saw a female at the feeder today. my wife saw it yesterday.

We are northeast of Oklahoma City.
