My Markham toothbar came this week (the day after I ordered, I might add), and I could hardly wait until Saturday to mount it to the loader.

The weather was pretty good here in SE Ohio, so I thought I'd give it, and a recently purchased back blade, a "Spring Preview".

I have a roughly 1/2 acre piece of brushy/wooded area that I have been planning to clear for lawn expansion this year. This seemed to be a good place to play. I ended up with 3 hours of seat time and spring fever.

Just as everyone has said, I can't imagine not having the toothbar. $158 + shipping was some of the best money I have ever spent.

I can't wait for good weather to be here to stay. I have so many tractor projects planned for this year.

Happy Easter!!!

Chiege,

I know what you mean..... My Markham toothbar came in the other day... a day late! Fedex would not bring a Semi up my road.... I had to go pick it up. Anyway, installed it last night and got up early this morning while the ground was still frozen and cleared out one of my gardens from under two feet of snow. What a difference the toothbar made. It just cuts through ice and frozen ground like it was not even there. Dollar for dollar, one of the best investments I ever made. The quality of the welds are just superb...... and I am very picky when it comes to welding.

And yes, I will post some pics ASAP!!!!!!!

Henro,

I noticed in your Bio that you are into home brewing. I'm thinking of taking this up as a hobby. I need a new hobby and I like beer, so I think it's a good fit. Do you brew very often?

Also, I'm over in Zanesville, OH. My wife and I love to come to Pitts. for little get-away weekends. About an hour and 40 min drive for us. We really like the Penn Brewery and its beers. Fathead's wing joint is another can't miss. Although we're Cincy Reds fans, PNC Park is the best in baseball.

Oh well, enough rambling. I think I've talked myself into a trip to the Steel City.

Hey Chiege,
Congrats on your new toothbar. Toothbar is on my list of things to get, but right now Pat's easy change system is ahead of it. Hope to have both by summertime....
Good to see other SE Ohio folks on TBN.
You about talked me into a trip to the steel city ...even though I'm a Brown / Indians fan. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

What is going on in Ohio that all of you people are visiting Maryland?

I have seen more Ohio tags in Maryland on my way to and from work lately than I ever have

Moon,

You'll love the toothbar. I would recommend the one from Markham Welding.

Although I'm in Muskingum County, my roots are in Jackson County, just up the hollow from you.
