Always told my wife that when I bought my first house that I always wanted a home that I could pee and shoot off the back porch.

LONG story, well pump froze Sunday and was down back with a blow torch this morning. In the meantime, to conserve what water we had, early this morning took a #2 out back. 13 years here, has to be the first one I can remember (can't count the pees they're so many)

Nice to know I can do both outside my home in my own privacy:p

Yes, TMI...

Yes, TMI...

Our last house had 5 not very private acres... wife loved it, I hated it. Cannot stand watching neighbors watching me.... We moved, and now have 16 very private acres..... "sighs"... all is well again.

OR you could have just peed on the pump. 100 acres here. I am pretty much in the middle, but some tard had to go and build a house on the property line! And then THEY complain about noise and agricultural stink!

I will never understand those people that build expensive houses a stones throw from the road. I mean, it's the first thing wealthy people do, is afford themselves PRIVACY.

I believe TBN has some rule about no pictures=it didn’t happen.

Btw- that’s a joke not a dare

Read the headline and thought this was going to be a first day at the nursing home story. LOL :)

That's what I thought. Or how his tractor fits into that scheme of things.

For years I wondered the same thing... and it wasn't just expensive new homes, but regular rural houses/outbuildings.

Turns out (at least here) it's access to power. If you're a certain distance from the road, the power line hook-up & 'maintenance' is "free"... in that it's the responsibility of the power company. If you're 'set back' then you have to purchase (from 'them' of course) the power poles & cable. It's also up to you to maintain your poles/cable.

Personally, I think many just don't care. As long as they have their creature comforts inside, they don't care about the surroundings. Just look at all those monster homes where you could walk from one roof to another.

And then, for some, it would make those stupid recessed lights around the outside quite useless if there was no one to see them!

And I was thinking more about taking ones tractor to the (nursing) home!

You've got me thinking!
I am sorta getting closer to the nursing home every day (77).
Do yah think they will let me bring my sweet little 1920 Ford 4x4 FEL along to keep in my room?
