First time owner TC33d

Hello everyone. Reciently purchased a used '01 TC33d (w 7308 loader) with just under 500 hours on it. Haven't really had a chance to use it yet, but my wife and I built a new home and have many projects lined up for it :thumbsup: Nice to find such a useful friendly place to talk tractors. I've already used the search feature to help me figure out a couple issues that needed repair. New hazard/flasher switch, new magnet for the cruise (fixed last night) etc. Tractor has R4 tires and runs great. Anxious to get to my projects and have fun using it. Grew up farming and haven't spent much time on this little of a tractor.

:welcome: to TBN McDuff. Glad to have you aboard. That TC33D is small, but for many/most daily tasks, small is ideal. The 7308 is not the strongest loader with a lift capacity under 1000 lb, but it is still plenty useful and a whole lot stronger than your back. If you lift round bales, I'd recommend using the 3PH with a bale spear. The 7308 will struggle with most round bales. Lookin' forward to seeing more posting and maybe a few photos.:thumbsup:

I appreciate your welcome and responce. Actually, you had replied to several of the other posts I'd read through in figuring out my cruise control, so thanks again.

Hopefully, my round bale days are behind me Mostly, it'll be used for cutting wood, landscaping, a little brush hogging, and pushing small amounts of dirt around. I have access to a JD 6420 (about 100hp tractor) with fel on it if I need to really lift something. Looking forward to many happy years with my "little tractor".

Welcome To TBN. I've got a TC29D which is the same tractor except fewer horse power. I think you'll get a lot of good use out of yours.
