Buying Advice First time tractor owner, buying advice.

Hello everyone my name is Andrew Stearns, new here to the forums and looking for help on buying my first tractor here in South America, Uruguay. Tractor will be used mainly for cutting a new property and keeping up with the grass. About 12 acres total. I was looking at some reconditioned Kubota 4x4 models that range from $4500-$7500 and include a mower attachment for cutting....these Kubotas have different model names. I知 wondering if these rebuilds are real deal Kubotas or knock offs. I was also looking at a 1983 Massey Ferguson 275. The MF doesn稚 come with a mower/cutting attachment. And is $1000 more. I致e enclosed pictures of the tractors also. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

All Kubotas are 4x4 come with mowing attachment included $1200 value (except L2002dt)

Not sure about the kubotas but that massey looks very nice, although it is a much larger tractor than all of the others you listed.I have a massey 255 and it works good for mowing on well drained soils.

Not sure about the Kubota's but I would be looking at something the size of that Massey if I was cutting 12 acres and maintaining it..

There is that big of a difference in the size of tractor and cutting rate? Here痴 2 pictures of area that needs to be cut (around 5 acres) and area already cut but needs to be maintained.

Depends on how much time you want to spend cutting, If it were me, I would want something that would run at least a 5 ft mower maybe even a 6 ft mower.. I assume you will cut it with a rotary cutter? What I see in those pictures could be cut with that Massey and a 6ft mower.

Yes with a rotary cutter, there’s 1.5 meter rotary cutters here in Uruguay, about 2.5 inches short of 5 ft. around $1300.

If you have time and don't want to spend the money on the Massey AND buy the cutter I'm sure the others you listed would run a 4ft cutter as long as you kept after it..
