Re: First Time Tractor Owner\'s Advice
I just checked a Rental's Unlimited catalog - and low and behold, no 3pt Post Hole Digger. They had some other types but not one for the tractor!!
You can rent a chainsaw, stump grinder, jack hammer, power rammer, industrial size chipper/shredder, and lots of other killer tools, but not a post hole digger. Think you could eliminate the liability factor. /w3tcompact/icons/crazy.gif
Here's another thought or two. You could borrow one from one of your neighbors or have your neighbor dig the holes for you. A few years back way before I got my tractor, I needed to put up a fence around our garden area. A asked a neighbor if he could do it and he came in a did the work for $3.00 a hole. Cost me about $50 bucks and a couple of beers after he was done. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
I know that I usually like to do the work myself but sometimes it just works better to either borrow or pay someone to do the work. Or better yet, a little barter goes a long way. That's what neighbors are for.
