Tractor
03 farm pro 2425
I recently bought a used farm pro 2425 with FEL and a Backhoe(same as the Jinma 254?)(this is my first tractor)with 400hrs on it in December. I got it to the house and ran it a couple times the first week. Then the weather set in. I have it parked a couple miles from my house and it seems its been either to cold, to wet or my schedule wouldn't allow any time to play with it since I got it, About middle of February I went to start it but it would not start, turns over fine, after a jump now because the battery died from trying too start it in the first place. Thinking it was the glow plugs, I checked them and found one of the three had a bad tip(you could see the heating element) so I ordered three plus some other things from Tommy at Affordable ( you guys are right he is a great help). After replacing the glow plugs I still had the same issue. I noticed I was only getting 11 volts to the current bar for the glow plugs from the factory wiring so I straight wired from the battery thinking I might not be getting proper voltage, no change. I tried bleeding the fuel lines and the banjo bolt on the metal line coming out of the fuel injector primer pump(going to the fuel filter) broke off. Thinking I may be able to still bleed the system, I bypassed the primer pump and installed a 12v electric pump from the fuel sediment bowl to the filter to get the fuel moving. I know I will probably need to order new fuel lines, because I'm not sure if the fuel is fed into the injector pump through the primer pump(I don't believe it is because its pre filter). I have been able to bleed the fuel system with the elec pump as best as I can tell... bled at filter, and high pressure line to the injectors while turning the motor over. Fuel shot out behind the nuts when the engine was turning over but not sure if it was enough pressure or not. This is my first tractor so I know nothing about this thing, I have had diesels before(82 suburban 6.2l, and 03 f350 6.0l)
Any ideas on what to do next would be great, It was running fine when I first got it and parked it but now I have no idea whats going on.

Is your fuel good? If so, I'd guess that your fuel delivery system is malfunctioning. The lift pump brings fuel to the high pressure pump. I doubt that your electric pump deal will work at all. Replace the fuel lines, get things back to stock and then bleed according to the proper procedure and you should have it running again.

How cold is it where you are at? How is the crank speed? A little cold and a little slow speed could be hindering your bleed and start efforts...

The fuel is not good i think, i agree with your opinion.

I think it is about the fuel, can not be used when it is cold.

I have no idea whats going on.
Not an unusual situation faced by many first time Chinese tractor owners. The hand (primer) pump is inexpensive, and should be replaced. For reasons that escape me, the Chinese call that a lift pump. Pretty sure your electric pump is a waste of time. The hand pump actually only primes the low pressure side. As was stated, it's only effective on the low pressure side. It moves fuel only as far as the end of the fuel filter output hose. All points after that are considered the high pressure side. To bleed this side requires loosening the fuel injector lines at the top (hex collar) and cranking the engine. Air bubbles may come out first. When you get fuel flow, tighten the collar. If you don't eventually get fuel coming from all three steel lines, your problem may be on the high pressure side.

IGetting new low pressure fuel lines is a good idea too. Two items plague them; rotten rubber and dirty screens. A fuel hose can look reasonably healthy on the outside, but have a rotten flap inside that is impeding or even blocking fuel flow. Same with the hose ends that have screens. They can get dirty to the point where they too can either impede or actually block fuel flow. So I recommend you start with a new hand pump and hoses. Then prime the low pressure side, bleed the high pressure side. If this gets full fuel flow from all three steel lines, you should be good to go.

What does your exhaust look like when it's cranking?

If the engine is getting fuel but it isn't igniting there will be a thick, copious white/gray exhaust that smells like diesel fuel. A bystander might think your garage is on fire. This is caused by the engine being too cold to fire, or the compression being too low to fire. An engine in this state will start readily with the application of just the tiniest amount of starting fluid.

If the engine is not getting fuel the exhaust will be air.
