I posted this in the general section, and they reccomend I try you guys:

I'm looking to purchase my first tractor. I've almost decided on the Mahindra 3616 Cab (Shuttle). I have a couple of questions and after reviewing the site can't seem to find any answers. If you can help, I'd appreciate it.

1. I'm not getting a FEL. With that in mind, I'm concerned that the front wheels may come off the ground with certain implements. Is this a legitmate concern. If so, what should I do?

2. What size bush hog and rototiller should I get? Does the answer to question no. 1 affect this? The PTO has 30 hp, so with conventional thinking I was going to get 6 foot implements, but not sure this is recommended.

3. Should I have the windows tinted? I live in East Texas and 100 plus degree days are the norm. I want to make sure the AC can keep the cab cool?

4. The tractor is "radio ready". Will any single din radio fit?

My tractor has similar power and is of similar size. In fact it might be made in the same factory for Mahindra. We have 5 ft bush hog and it bogs in tall grass unless going slow. When we mow we remove the bucket from the FEL. I didn't notice tendency of front to come up. You can always add weight to the front of the tractor. Ask the dealer to throw some in.
I would get HST for mowing and rototilling. Its convenience is hard to beat because of PTO speed and tractor speed are independent of each other. Once you try it you will understand.
