Fish ID. Small ones

I practice catch and release. You have to keep in practice so the hot grease doesn't splash up on you when you release them. One of my favorite fish to catch and eat is the red breasted bream. A hand sized fish will put up quite a fight.

Love Bluegill one of the BEST tasting fish, catch em, lop off the heads and scale/gut and toss into a dish of flour/spices and hot grease in cast iron! My sister used to help catch & clean and cook sure miss her good food and even better company.

She taught me how to pull out top & bottom fins (after cooking) then slide fork along back bone down to the tail and flip the top half/fillet up and eat away grab tail and pull backbone & rib cage & pull out may have to run fork along ribs on lower fillet. Skin on helps to keep the light tender meat together and SOOO good with a bit of tarter sauce maybe some lemon...

LD1 just let me know when they get eating size & I'll make the short drive down!
