Future Kioti 3510HST
My current plow truck is getting pretty tired so I am planning on buying a 3510HST primarily for snow removal but some light dirt work in the summer months. I would like to remove the headgear from the plow frame and mount the plow frame to a quick attach plate. I will then run lines from the rear valves to operate the angle and use the FEL to lift/lower/tilt the plow. I guess my big question is will this be too much of a load on the FEL. The dealer said if I load the tires and add a weight box to the 3 pt it would most likely work but would be real hard on the tractor. I have to warn you I am a tractor virgin. Been looking for a long time and think I am ready to finally pull the trigger but I don't want to spend a fortune setting it up. Either way it is still cheaper and more universal than the $55,000 truck with plow option. Dealer quoted me $19100 for the tractor with FEL and $27000 with the front mount snowblower set up. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Commercial or residential, gravel or asphalt drive(s)? Why not go with a plow rig designed for a tractor, like my HLA 2000. Skip all the light rig and stuff from a truck, and just add LED floods to the ROPS for night vision. Why snowblower, very expensive and unwieldy attachment? Especially if it needs to use subframe mounted mid-mount PTO drive.
Either way it renders the FEL inoperative, and the FEL is one of the most useful parts of any tractor, IMHO.
$8K is a LOT of $$$ for a blower, and it's a one trick pony, unless all you plan to do is blow snow.

Residential gravel. The front mount blower is pretty much out of the question. They wanted $3500 for a Woods rear mount blower with hyd angle and diverter. Another $2500 for 6' snow pusher with back drag option. The other option I was thinking of is fabbing some wings for the bucket, 45 degrees 12-24" off leading sides to pile snow then using the blower to send it in the woods. Be nice not having snow banks limiting the yard and increasing spring melt off time. Did a search and can't come up with anything with regard to adding bucket wings. Have you seen anything of the sort done before? Is it even feasible to try. Thinking simple bolt on/off design so the bucket is still good for dirtwork.
