It's getting to be snow season in Maine and a generous buddy GAVE me an old Fisher plow and frame for my Kioti LB1914. We were able to adapt some 3pt bracket parts and get the thing solidly mounted back there. I must say that except for looking backward, the thing worked perfectly on the seven inch snowfall we had Friday.
My question is whether anyone has had trouble (other than neck trouble) with this set-up. The 3pt hitch is designed to be strong in the pulling direction and I'm assuming it is just as strong pushing. The plow has a spring-loaded cutting edge and also can freely pivot upwards at the pins. Not that I would ever hit anything.....
Any comments or tips will be appreciated. I'll get a photo in here if anyone wants to see the set-up.
