I made an online purchase 2 days ago, got a return message confirming order was made. I tried to get a tracking number both by email and on phone left message. So far no reply???? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Any ideas?

Normally, a tracking number is assigned only after the item is shipped, not when the order is confirmed. I usually receive an order confirmation at the time the order is placed and a shipping confirmation with tracking number sometime later. If your credit card has been debited and the product hasn't shipped, then you might have reason to be concerned.

Stuff from FittingsandAdapters.com is dropped shipped from a warehouse in I believe Atlanta. This guy is also HydraulicHoseFittings.com and his ability to ship anything is sketchy at best. Sometimes stuff comes and sometimes it doesn't. I have had both happen to me.

If you don't have your order in a week to 10 days and your credit card has been debited then you have cause for concern.

If you don't have your order in a week to 10 days and your credit card has not been debited then send them an email and cancel the order.

There are other places on the internet that will give good service and where you can talk to a human. DiscountHydraulicHose.com is one place I have used in the past.

You know I did some checking on that company awhile back and the address they list in Plano, TX, is just a residence. In other words, it's not a "store". He apparently just has a computer in the house and runs the websites and orders whatever you buy when you buy it and has it shipped from his supplier to you. Of course, that's not to say that he isn't a legitimate home business.
