At times like this I'm really glad we live on the side of a hill! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif The runoff rocketed down the drainage ditches so fast it took out much of the road, and the culverts at the bottom are pretty well silted up, but no permanent damage. The basement is flooding, but so far nothing the sump pump can't handle. The portable electric fencing was blown down, but the sheep had been confined in the permanent enclosure anyway. The back of the garage (storage shed and sheep shelter) is pretty wet, but our last minute dash with shovels (wearing only muck boots -- there's a sight!) diverted most of it to the side and away.
Pretty worried about folks down to the valley, though. Heard sirens wailing all over the place. This was every bit as intense as any tropical monsoon I'd ever experienced!
