My son-in-law recently got a used tandem axle heavy duty landscape trailer. It's 16x7 bed.

I put on new lights, coupler, one spring, 2 axle equalizers, all new shakle bolts and bushings, and a break away kit and had the bearings repacked. I think its good to go now.

Looks good. Now you will have a much safer and easier time hauling your items.

I had to put new tires and add brakes to my trailer in the last year. Sure makes it a lot nicer pulling around my antique tractors.

had the bearings repacked

Next time, try packing the bearings yourself. It's really easy and takes about 5 minutes after you've done a few.

Good job on the trailer.

Thanks guys. It is reassuring to have this all done, ready to haul my B2620 up to the cabin this weekend.

I may do the bearings myself next time.

I just hope mine turns out as nice. Having a new deck put on as well as brakes on one axle. (18 ft flatbed) Sure will feel better hauling loads then.... Have fun and stay safe....

Nice job on the trailer, and i agree packing the bearing isn't bad once you've done it once.

What have you guys done to treat the wood on the trailer decks? My trailer is about 5 years old and the wood is in good shape but is starting to look weathered and i've been thinking about using a Thompsons water seal or similiar product but don't want to make it too slippery. Any suggestions?
Thanks
