Only problem with this is it would cost $40,000,000,000,000. That's 40 trillion. About 3 times what the current national debt is.

According to the typical rule of economic thinking, I would assume this would also give us a rate of inflation as some other countries now have. A fellow I spoke with some time back said his mother's previous 1 month phone bill for calling him here in the US cost as much as their house did approx. 8-10 years ago. I believe the fellow said his mother (and he) was from Argentina? My mind cannot comprehend that rate of inflation.

Must be that new FUZZY math.

1 million times 40 million = 40 million.

Lets not take something like this post too serious. :):)

Maybe check your batteries

Huh? what did you say 1,000,000 times 40,000,000 equals?

What is 1 times $40,000,000? What is 1,000,000 times $40,000,000.

Holy Cow.

Well the old mans theory would make 40 people "happy"

Part of the problem is we have people in congress that use the same kind of math!!:)

We are screwed and thats that thats simple math.

As fast as the world (including the USA) is dumping the US currency for something more tangible this is going to leave us holding the proverbial bag and it wont be full of hope. my 2c

The problem with the economy came from people in their 80's. Please stop asking someone else to pay you more. Never in the history of the world has any group of people done so little and been handed so much. Sick and tired of paying into old folks ponzi scheme's. Want to fix economy, STOP SS now.......you already got more than you deserve.....
