Ok looking for a Mathews Flail Mower Manual for model L60A

Their manuals are available on line through Mathews Company website. Go to resources, then look for discontinued models. Your model is the same lower flail cutter as the Lawn Genie Models and parts are available. If you are replacing bearings, they are available through your local bearing supply store. Flail knives are available through MC, but have to be ordered through a local dealership and sent to them. I think they will ship to just about any dealer. Good luck.

Just bought the Flail mower on the back roller both bearings are destroyed, can’t get a part number off of them to go to a local place, I know the shaft is 1 1/4”, could I just take the two part bearing holder and tell them 1 1/4” bore and match the race?

No, you need to have the numbers for the bearings. It is best to go to a mathews dealer to obtain them
as you will save a lot of time and aggravation.
Also a Mathews dealer should be able to give you the correct bearing for it the first time and in so doing
you will be able to start mowing sooner.
I know that is not much help right now but if you have the correct bearings there should be no issues with
the rear roller from now on as long as you grease it every six hours of mowing with 3-5 squirts of good
high temperature grease.

The rear roller bearings are nothing special and should be available from a bearing supply store, auto parts store or TSC/farm store. Be sure they come with the locking collar. You have a choice as far as replacing with a sealed/non-regreasable bearing or a regreasable bearing which will have a hole or groove to allow the grease in. Take the pair of flanges with you to determine if they are usable or need to be replaced. Replace them if they don't hold the bearing securely. One side should have a zerk fitting and make sure it is clean and takes grease before reassembly, if you use regreasable bearings. I can't advise on your choice between sealed or regreasable. again, Good luck.
