I have been looking at ditch bank and collection flails for the last several years. I haven't pulled the trigger yet, but I would likely go with the Peruzzo collecting flail, and yes... There are not any (?) US manufacturers that I have found.
A little more options in the ditch bank flails, but still mostly Italian or Chinese manufacturers.
I will likely end up with a Del Moreno or Peruzzo.
The build quality of the Del Morino and Maschio Orchard and Vineyard boom mounted flail shredder is excellent as all the farm equipment
built and or sold in Europe has to meet the more stringent European farm equipment safety standards which are much more strict there
than here in the United States.
There is only one nationwide distributor for Peruzzo mowers which is iowa farm equipment.
You will absolutely love how well it collects dropped leaves and windrows of leaves built up with a leaf blower.I bought a like new Mathew’s lawn genie recently. Wonderful cut and excellent pickup but not ideal for my rough terrain. Will see about how well it does with fall leaves. Looks like a really well built machine. Heavy rascal.
