Flail Mower

I have an older Mott 5' Flail mower, looking for the small gear in the gear box. It has a square gear box. The gear has 16 teeth, 3/4hole, and (approx) 25 deg bevel. Does anyone out there have a manual for one of these that I can get a part number? I have checked with Alamo, Flail-Master and others. Without a part number they were no help. I'm sure someone knows someone who can help. Thanks in advance

hi blaneypark ! I have a motts mower myself ! having pretty much the same problems ! I have got great help from montageent.com ! they could sent you a catalog in the mail with parts and pics ! maybe you will be able to figure it out that way ! good luck !

Did you download Flailmaster's catalog. You can probably match up the picture.

I went. To germanbliss website today looking at Alamo by Mott SHD88 parts.
They have a 58 page OEM parts catalog for mine and might for yours.
If you can't find under Mott, try looking under Alamo. I think they re-labeled some Mott mowers during the transition.
