Hi all i'm would like a little advice from any one that could help i have a 3 foot wide flail deck from a turner walk behind flail mower

simular to a ferris

that i have been thinking about fitting on to my kubota KX71-2 digger as i have i lot of steep banks that i can only cut with a weed wacker And it is wearing thin

Fabricating the brackets and linkages is straight forward enough for me but i don't know much about hydrualics:confused2:

So the question is how would i decide what size / flow rate hydrualic motor to
fit on to it

Do you know the HP of the engine that powered the deck? Do you know the rpm of the rotor? The displacement of the hyd motor , and GPM's will determine the speed. Small displacement , high speed, and large displacement low speed.

7 GPM's and 4 cu in, will turn the hyd motor at 404 rpm. 4 cu in and 2500 psi, will develop about 1592 in lbs
