This has been discussed before with one poster showing some nice pictures in 2006. I am wondering what it would look like to have flames painted on my new tractor that has a white paint job.

Perhaps I am attempting to "pimp my tractor", but I am not trying to ask for expected abuse. I just thought it may look kind of nice. I did see some spinner type wheel covers on a combine, and a family a few miles away has a metallic purple repaint on their Ford 8N with a yellow duck painted on top of the engine cover.

I am not going for the "hey look at me" thing since probably the only person who would ever see it is mywself. Otherwise I would hook up a 50,000 watt stereo system on the ROPS and perhaps some strobe lights.

Anybody got any ideas?

Sounds like a Jeff Foxworthy to me...:D I think I would stop after adding mudflaps.

I saw a concrete pumper truck all done up with flames and it actually looked alright, maybe it would work for a tractor. Do you have a Bobcat?

There was a picture going around a while back of a personal helicopter with the most awesome flame job you ever saw. The picture had the helicopter landing and a firetruck waiting for it. The story was that there had been multiple 911 calls of a helicopter on fire.

Im in! I think flames on a white tractor would look great. I'd like to see my neighbor and his orange tractor top that. We have a little tractor rivalry goin on here.

Go to tokyo once and see the ultimate in pimping of industrial equipment. At least the lorries they use are pretty impressive.

Flame jobs take some skill to look good. You might want to consider some high quality decals...

Go for it, if you want it, and think it will look cool, go ahead! (From the guy who has some neon inside his boat)

Go with blue or purple flames though - more old-skool.

You can go subtle or you can go loud!

I never did pimp out the tractor, but I did pimp out my riding lawnmower.

Bottom line...it is your machine, do what makes you happy. If someone else has a problem with it then it would appear to me it is their problem not yours. If you do it post some pics, I think it would look good.
