Traction in off road conditions will be very reduced with stiff tires.

You know, at one time all tractors had flat proof tires.
FOR SURE, steel rims with 3" high bolt on lugs. But back then wide open cruise was about walking speed.

If I were having problems with flats, I would go with the foam filled tire. I think this would be cheapest route rather than a solid rubber tire. The only con to this is that if you ever have to replace the tire due to worn out tread, the foam filled tire is a real bear to get off and has to be cut off in pieces.

Sitting in a tire shop as I read this. My valve stem almost came off in my hand. Had to ratchet strap the tire to squeeze washer fluid out. Very pokey job. Foam sounds great at this moment.

With pneumatic tires the true "wheels of modern civilization", I don't think "flat proof" has a real foot to stand on. If I worked in a land fill, I may think the flat proof technology a true god send.

All the large machinery at our local land fill run on Steel wheels!

These are not "flat proof" that you are referring to but pretty darn near close. I purchased a set of fronts for my 4610 SU from them several years ago and have yet to flat one brush hogging. I don't know if they carry sizes for smaller tractors but I have been extremely pleased with the results.

Gensco Tire. Home of the no flat aircraft tire.

I for one will attest to the indestructible capability of the Gensco tires. I bought a set of 14 ply aircraft retreads for the front of my Fordson-Dexta years ago. Thorn trees were eating me up with something like 15 flats per day. With the Gensco tires, I never had another flat. And it didn't matter one bit whether I had air in them or not. They ran fine either way.

At that time they were $85/each OTD, already mounted on refurbished rims. And their warranty? Free replacement with 18 ply tires if the 14's didn't work out :)
