flat tire

well i finally joined the club of my front tire blew off the rim for no reason club.my brother was putting out some seed an 1 of the front tires popped off the rim for no reason.im going to call my dealer in the morning an see if theres any reason that it popped off the rim.an take the tire to the tire shop an have it fixed.i usually put out seed so it couldve been me taking take long walk back to the house.

Any time mine has come off is because of low air pressure or the valve stem gets knocked out or into the tire.

well im thinking it was low air pressure as theres a valve stem protector on the tire.

They should put a sticky up warning people that as the temps drop you really need to pay attention to your air pressures. Early last winter I was breaking up some packed snow with the tire chains when I had one of the fronts go flat. Slowly drove back to my garage and aired it back up, been fine ever since but now that we are seeing below freezing temps I'll be out there checking the pressures. I did buy tubes for the front just in case this was something that happened too often but as I said it only happened once so the tubes are still in the boxes.

I agree with the low air pressure being the culprit. In the field we'd use a bucket to raise the front end, cinch a rope around the tire as you put air in it. I finally put tubes in both the front tire...wish we should have done that the first time it happened.

well we put alot of pressure on the tire as we aired it up an it wouldnt pop on.so we went an got a can of either an blew it back on the rim.

Glad to hear that I'm not the ONLY nutcase that uses either to seat tires onto the rims.
