Flexable Fueling Hose?

I fill our diesel tractors from 55 gallon drums and a very old 12v gear pump. The hose is now old and getting more rigid by the month which makes filling a bit of a chore. Is there a brand of hose for diesel use that is nice and flexible on the market anyone could recommend? Thanks...

Tractor supply sells fuel hoses in various lengths that are just like service station hoses. Check there or at most farm and ranch stores. I think they come in 10 to 25 foot lengths. They aren't cheap so check your length needed if you want to save a few bucks. I have a 25 foot one on my pump which just reaches my tractor tank from my shop where the diesel bulk tank is without me trying to drive inside.

I'm curious what resistance to diesel the Flexogen/Flexzilla hoses have. Proper fuel filling hoses are wire-reinforced and designed to be quite tough, so they're probably as flexible as you're going to get in a proper filling hose. Your best bet is probably just another new diesel/gas compatible fuel hose.

They do make diesel/gas compatible fuel hoses without the wire in them and many times are found on hand pumps. I wouldn't say that they are "proper" but with todays plastic fuel tanks, grounding with the fuel nozzle doesn't happen anyway, so no need for the wire inside. I personally prefer the stiffer hose with wire inside so it doesn't kink when it makes a turn like a garden hose does. Grounding on a diesel is not so much of a big deal anyway due to lower flammability than gasoline.
