I got some flipover stabilizer pads for my BX24 now that I got my driveway paved, and I'm just not certain that I have them on right. When the soft side is out, they seem right, but the angle for the hard side just doesn't make sense to me. See attached photos. Can anyone tell me if this are oriented properly? Thanks. Oh, and I must say I'm disappointed that they're not orange, although at least the tractor looks good just for today, Halloween.

Will the pads fit on the other side? It looks like you would drive your pins right into the dirt on the hard side so if you switched the pads I wonder if it gave you enough clearance to get pin off asphalt and a good surface for the hard side? Although the hard side looks like it would just be flat then so what if you just bolted the rubber pads onto your original stabilizer feet then you could have your oj back and probably more functional pads too. Just a thought.

There really only seemed to be one logical way for these to go on, and this is it. When I lowered the stabilizers with the hard sides down, the feet pivoted up instead of laying flat. That's not very functional, which is what's really making me question this orientation.

Sadly, I'm less than impressed with this $240 pair of Kubota items. Another reason is that I had to grind out the holes a considerable amount to get the pins through. I might wind up replacing the pins with some sort of hitch pins so that I can quickly swap the original ones and these ones.

Can you put a couple of holes in your original feet and just add the pads on one side?

I imagine I could probably do something like that, yes. I liked the idea of going with the Kubota solution, because I often find that factory solutions are ideal when they aren't too expensive. I'll have to give these a fair chance before completely deciding how I feel about them.
