You may or may not know about the catastrophic flooding w've had here over the last few days but I got the chance to do some repair to my mothers driveway after the culvert plugged and washed out the road. Alot of the washed out gravel ended up in my pond, which is usually dry[don't ask]. So I hauled 8 bucket loads of the material and did a quick and dirty patch job so we can get a vehicle up to her house.
The actual repair will happen hopefully when the town gets around to fixing the rest of the road.

Been reading about it. My buddy in Bangor Maine has had 2 weeks of almost continual rain.

You guys were hit pretty hard up there. Recovery will likely take years in some parts of VT.

We were spared here in Northeast PA. but incidents like this have happened regularly over the years. There were times when I couldn't have managed without my tractor & FEL.

Ain't it grand owning a tractor with a FEL? I didn't know until I had one just how much use it would get. Sorry you all had to be impacted by all that flooding. After have a house flood several times I made sure to locate my next house where it can never flood.

Lot of people hurting. Hope they get some relief soon. Folks like us with tractors are usually better prepared. Couldn’t enjoy this lifestyle without a good tractor with FEL and chainsaw.

Could not live where I do without the machines.
I've done some driving recon the last few days and the damage is severe.
Definitely will take month's for some of the major road repairs and travel from here to there, which was never in a straight line in the best of times, is now even more convoluted on still accessible back roads.
Raining again right now and am hoping my fixes will hold till permanent repairs can be made.
