That's not a rear view mirror.
As far as I know there is no taking them apart. I do know of several people that have JB Welded the glass in place after it became loose.
If it comes down to it do not pay what Dodge wants for a new one. They can be had aftermarket for much much less.

Thanks - I was afraid of that. JB Weld it will be on a 14 year old truck with one driver.
At least I got the mirror part right. That's pretty good for me. Just so I don't totally embarrass myself again what is the proper name ??
