I am in need of some advice on how I can lower the flow on one of my rear tractor remotes for a hydraulic tie system on a round baler. The baler has a hydraulic tie system but there is no adjustment as to the speed. I have to either stop in increments across the tie area or manually throttle the flow with the lever to slow the speed. I was wondering if there is a flow control valve that I can adjust the flow and therefore be able to hold the lever wide open and get the desired speed. It is just a hassle stopping and doing this manually and still the results are not always consistent.
Additionally, I was wondering if these type valves, if available, are directional. If possible I'd like the tie arm to go full speed to one side with the flow restriction (slow speed) on the return of the arm.
Does such item even exist for a reasonable price? Ive seen flow control valves at Northern tool but not sure if these are for what I need. Thanks
