Fluid FIlm/ LPS3 - how to spray it?

I've seen fluid film but got LPS3 - same look and feel to it - like gojo.

How would I go about spraying it?

Put it in a spray bottle..got about 10 pumps and that was it for the bottle.

I have auto spray guns...figure no on that.

I have 'yard sprayers', the 1 and 2 gallon pump up general purpose sprayers for weed killer or such.

I've heard of using an undercoating spray gun...haven't seen one to know anything about them.

You can buy LPS-3 in trigger spray bottles, and they work well.
Best idea is to buy several of the trigger spray bottles, and then a gallon for refilling.
I have three of the trigger spray bottles strategically placed for use as needed.
LPS-3.... I love the stuff...have used it for years, and I live by the salt water.
For a large area, the $68 Eastwood undercoating gun looks like a good idea.

Fluid Film has a $38 "gun" for FF. You say the consistency is the same so it should work. The warmer you can store your spray (I've only used FF) the better this gun works.

HARUMPH - - along with never being able to find used implements in this part of the world - - none of our auto parts stores have ever heard of Fluid Film. So I will ask a couple questions - -

Where do you buy the spray cans of the stuff - locally - ??

When you spray it on a clean, bare metal surface does it dry to a hard wear resistant coating??

I WILL eventually get my hands on a can of this stuff - but these questions in the mean time. Thank you.

I buy my Fluid Film from my local Lowes. Checked on web and the Spokane Valley Lowes 20.1 miles from AMBER, WA zip 99004 says they have 107 cans available on Aisle 80-81 , Bay P06. No fluid film does not dry to a hard wear resistant coating.

Just remember the FF spray cans are only good for about a year. I bought gallons and brush it on. I have not tried the undercoat guns.

Well - I guess that shows me!!! The Spokane Valley Lowes is right next door to the Costco that I shop at. Next time I go - I'll have to stop and shop at Lowes. Thanks gator - and all the way from N Carolina. And I thought I spent a lot of time on the internet - ha, ha.
