First Off Hope everyone has an awesome 4th of July Holiday! MERICA!!:united-states::united-states::united-states:
So before i call the dealership i thought i would ask you fellers on here about my tractor fluids and viscosity.
Im going to be changing the Oil, Hydraulic fluid, both filters, and coolant.
what do these tractors take?
As far as Motor oil i was thinking of Rotella 15w-40
Not sure on the hydraulic fluid or vicosity.. or actually even how much it calls for. I wasnt able to locate and download an actual maintenance book for this model.
and lastly, the coolant, doing some light reading i found to buy the straight 30-50% no diluted coolant for it.. sound right???

O and i found my hour meter after taking my dash apart and cleaning it all up. 580 for the hours on the tractor itself! i was pretty happy finding that out

Thanks Guys

For my 6530 and 2400 I use Rot T 5w-40 full syn. I could use Rot T 15w-40 but don't. With hydro steering and wet brakes and common sump, you need a premium fluid, so both of them get it.

I use JD 20C as my benchmark (look for on the container) spec since Branson never shows up due to it being a small segment of the market. TSC Premium Trans-Hyd fluid is readily available and meets that spec and a lot of others. Warren oil packages a lot of fluids under different names for the American consumer. You never know when you are getting a Warren product unless it states it on the container.

On my Fords, which only have a trans-hyd requirement, I use JD 303 spec'd oil which is lower priced.

My take on Warren is that they have 2 bulk tanks; one for new tractors with the above amenities adjusted for the most stringent requirements, and one for older tractors with a common sump without the hydro, wet brake and all requirements having fewer additives, and a lower price.

I think if you dig around you can find an answer to your question as to how much of each you need.

When I got ready for my first service I called the dealership and they said JD 303 was all that was required. Guess next time I'll be going with a premium fluid.

Thank you too. I gave them 9 years. Time to reup. and another hitch and would have put me over the half way point and would have had to stay the duration....become a lifer. Grin.
