2011 KUBOTA L3200 W/ LOADER, BH77 BACKHOE
Just wanted to share a fog light design I just completed on my Kubota. I bought 4 Baja driving lights and mounted two front and two to the rear so that night time doesnt hold me back from completing a job! So far it was well worth the effort. Attached is a photo where I mounted the lights under the ROPS and I mounted them using u-bolt type fasteners as to not void the warranty.

Carl,
I'm pretty sure Groo was saying that smurfs are creative too....but I thought he was talking about headroom when I posted my reply :). Anyway, If you need more details on how I did this or would like more pictures just hit me up. Looks like yours are attached pretty low, but where's the rest of your ROPS??

No, I was saying I don't have enough headroom on the old Kubota L2250DT to do that without getting a headache.

Looks nice, but I would cut off the end of the ubolts and put on an acorn nut so that you dont take a chunk out of your head when the tractor suddenly rocks to the side...

Agree. Ouchee on those exposed bolts. I would reverse them with the nuts outboard and cut them as well.

Thats what I intended to do, but after working so long and hard to get them mounted and wired I ran out of steam when I got to that part!

I'm trying a slightly different approach. I used the automotive style 2 sided tape. The kind they use to hold the badges onto the car fenders. Then I secured that with 2 heavy duty Tie Wraps (zip ties). They seen to be holding pretty well.

That may come in handy.....I bolted mine, but that ended up working against me for one reason.....when I backed out of the grage the other day, the garage door rope (the one you pull down to close the garage door) snagged one of the back lights and almost ripped it completely off! I had to re-do that light, and I modified that darn rope so it cant snag it again! If I had used two sided tape it would have broke free before any damage was done! ha ha....anyway, I thought I'd also tell you that my lights came with covers that I painted Kubota orange, and then put the kubota logo on each one....now they look like I paid Kubota to put them on at the factory!!!

and I took yet another different approach to mount fog-lights on the Kubota. I mounted some of the old amber glass ones (I had unused in the box) in place of the busted headlights when I redid the grill and added a guard. It only makes sense that an orange tractor should have orange head-lights

We should both make a new t.v. series called: "PIMP MY TRACTOR" ha ha:laughing:

I like the Kubota orange idea. I have a new set of LED lights I want to put on, so I will have to paint them first. Lol. "Pimp My Tractor" I like it. I have seen some of the things people have done with their tractors. There would be some stiff competition.

Pimp my tractor was somewhat covered under "Pimp my What?" with Bo Duke

lol....this is true. Well, we could always just appear on the show "my addiction" since most of us here have tractor OCD!:confused2:
