Anybody else having condensation problems under the lens of the instrument cluster? The dealer has replaced mine once and the 2nd cluster is having the same problem. The tractor (TC40D) is kept inside in an unheated shed and hasn't been exposed to outside moisture other than humidity lately. Apparently, it's not sealed.........and I'm thinking heat from the engine is causing moisture to condensate on the inside of the lens(?)................

I havn't seen mention of it in a while.. but a few months ago ( 8? ) I noticed there was alot of discussion about it.. and the same problems... dealer xchanges them.. and the new ones did it too. Never did hear what the conclusion was.

Not sure how far back the archives go, but try a keyword search using fog.

It is possible it may have occoured back on the yahoo yanmar sub.

We left that area and came over here for many reasons.. 1 being that they had poor search / archive capability.... had to go back and manually read all xxx old posts, etc.

Mine fogs up too. My tractor is kept in an unheated barn. I think mine started to fog up after the first time I worked in the rain. Ever since then I have condensation under the plastic instrument panel.

This also occurred over the weekend on my TC33d. It took about 5 hours to clear. I will be getting some seat time tonight, so we will see what happens.

I think you will find it comes and goes. Operation with the lights on will tend to help it clear up, but it generally comes back. Even my old 1720 did it but not as much. I think the problem comes from the fact that the panel is sealed, but not perfectly. So air is in there with some humidity and depending on the outside temp, it condenses. Maybe NH should go to a panel that's less sealed on the bottom. Just a thought. All these warranty replacements have got to be costing them big time.

My TC33D does it all the time!! It is both annoying and concerning. I keep it in an unheated barn, but it seems to do it in all seasons even on humid days in the summer. I have not done anything about it since my dealer is soo far away. I have been living with it for two years now! Surely, ther must be a fix. I am all ears for a solution.

I agree with Duane. Would it make sense to drill some holes, perhaps in the back of the panel to allow for more air circulation?
