Although I am sure it might be a little more than $2.00, I am sure it can't be too much more. Anyway, everyone loses pins and cotter keys so when I raised my finishing mower in the air to clear some rocks and one of the wheels fell out I thought, "no problem, lost a pin. I'll go snagged a another one and keep on trucking". Well, my luck doesn't work quite like that. As it turns out some how not only did I lose the pin I lost the plastic spacer/washer off the top of the wheel mount. Can't figure that one. Anyway, figures it would happen on a Sat. night rather than a Sunday. Guess I will work on the car tomorrow rather than cut grass. Off to the dealer on Monday.

I have the same mower that you do. And I had the same thing happen to me when the mower was new and I also lost the bushing. (the pins that come with the mower come out way to easy, I replaced all the pins and never had the problem again).
I happened to have a nylon type plastic pipe coupler that was a perfect fit for a bushing. I stuck the pipe fitting in the hole, cut it off to length, installed the wheel and new pin and was fixed up in minutes. Worked so well I'm still running the mower with that homemade bushing in there to this day.

Hey there Vince. I am with you. I was rather perplexed that the bushing came out too. The pins, OK, I can see that but I just couldn't figure out how that bushing got snagged. Any idea where you got that pipe fitting, is a Home Depot special;). I am thinking I could get a piece of PVC in morning and cut it long enough so that it fits inside the mounting tube, touchs the bottom bushing, leaving a little at the top of course to act like a washer (or try to find a big enough washer) and still do some mowing tomorrow.

I have no idea what Home Depot carries for fittings.
We have a Trader Horn nearby that carries all types of fittings. I think I bought it there.
I installed all the utilities when we built here a coupler years back and still had several spare fittings laying around when I lost the wheel/bushing.
Can't remeber for sure, but I think I used a 1 1/4" plastic water line coupler and it was a very good fit.

Ok, I'll see what I can find tomorrow. I popped the bottom one out to take with me and see if I could match it up with something else similar.
