Here's the previous post:
I did it real good this time!!!!
The surgery went well but unfortunately it was the worst case scenario. The tendon was completely torn and the Dr. had to graft some muscle into the repair site......whatever, I just wanted to know if I could go back to work when I woke up!
Now I cannot bear any weight for 8 WEEKS! I'm not sure about light duty at work because if I cannot walk chances are no light duty (flushing hydrants, building inspections, hose testing, etc.) who knows! Anyways, being bored to death I thought I would sit and do some posting here to occupy time. My buddy who works at a medical equipment place hooked me up with a power chair so I can putt around here, ha, ha! A couple of the guys from the firehouse are coming tonight to cookout and have some COLD beverages...looking forward to that!
So, I guess I'll be hanging around here more often!
And of course, this being a safety post...be careful!
