foot comfort for big guy???

I am in th e market for a sub compact with loader and hoe, I am 6'6'' tall and leg and foot comfort is important, I presently have a simplicity conquest mower with hydrostsic foot controls which are side by side pedals which are comfortable for me. I am looking to stay about $16,000. I have tried kubota bx23 and Massey gc2310tlb, they both have a rocker type foot control which seems uncomfortable, machine to machine, I am impressed with the Massey, but still need to find a solution to the foot controls. John Deere has side by side but also a much higher price and I believe NEw holland is the same, correct me if I am wrong or if someone knows of a comparable machine to the gc2310 with the sam e price range.

That's hardly a sub compact.

My compact has a rocker pedal, it took a few hours to get comfortable with it.

Try to get one of the dealers to let you try one for a day.
Working one will be the only way to know for sure.

You may want to look at the new Kubota BX24 if you can hold out til Spring. I understand it has separate pedals rather than the rocker controls for HST.
I am 6'5" and find the room perfectly adequate on my Kioti CK20. That might be a little bigger than what you are looking for however. I agree the rocker control is less desirable though I have gotten used to it.

From my understanding, the new throttle control on the BX24 will be similiar to that on the B7XXX series. It will still rock back and forth but most of the pedal is under the deck. So it appears as though there are two separate pedals.

FWIW, I like it better than what is on the BX23 & BX2230.

I have a New Holland TC29D with the rocker pedal. There was no problem getting use to it. It was a matter of 5 minutes. Now when I use my neighbors John Deere I hate the two pedal system. I think you will get use to either or.
