I think I at have a bad switch because I bought 2 footcontrols I wired the other one up tonite and it works but when I wired up the one Ivebeen trying to get to work the sae way it still does not work!!! way to test switch??

Use a meter to test from (C) common to the (NC) normally closed. the meter should pass power thru just like it has the two leads together. PUSH switch the signal shod show OPEN. Move lead from (NC) to (NO) and test again, the meter should read OPEN when switch is off and CLOSED (just like leads together) when pushed.

Check to make sure that you have the drill press switch turned ON when trying the foot switch.

tested the switch it is bad have new one on the way thanks for the help
