My foot throttle on my 4010 I noticed is stuck, it will not move up nor down at all. Wondering if any of you have ever had this issue and if so how difficult was the repair.

Yes they get stuck from non-use. Soak shaft with your favorite snake oil.

Sometimes sticks/brush can get up under there also and bind things up.

Look under the floorboard, if you dont see anything binding it up, Soak as TxJim suggested.

I attached a few pictures so you can see what I've done thus far. I spent the last two days trying to free the shaft up with no such luck yet. The only thing I've managed to do was break the weld holding the pedal to the shaft. I'm trying to remove the shaft and then I will weld the pedal back onto it. The first picture is from the inside just above the floor board. The 2nd picture is the side were the pedal use to be. Should this shaft be knocked out from the inside going out? That's the only way really I see that it could come out. Unless there's some trick I'm not aware of. Any suggestions guys?

Have you disconnected the inside linkage and determined that this shaft is the only thing frozen?

You would think that with the pedal welded to this shaft that it needs to be released from the inside to get it out. Looks kind of bad, may have needed more time with the snake oil to loosen this up. I will admit sometimes I don't have much patience either. The pedals will stick if not used and lubed as mentioned in prior post.

Your tractor has lots of mechanical linkage, good cleaning and lube up the rest of them to prevent further problems, I recommend a small squirt can with light oil to keep them in shape.

Yes I've disconnected the linkage from the inside. The only thing frozen is the shaft were the pedal once was. I'm just going to drill the shaft out and replace it, I've been oiling this thing for almost two weeks now without a sign that I'm doing any good.

I ended up just using a drill to get the shaft out. I've got another pedal/ shaft on the way. Thanks for the help
