"Footprint" of GC1705 without FEL or rear attachments?

I have been researching how to store all my new toys I have on the way as I just ordered a GC1705 with FEL, Front Blade, MMM drive on, Landscape rake and Bush hog, and I've been struggling with something I think I know the answer to, but I cannot find anything definitive.

In the Specs on the GC 1705, it says the overall length is 97.6". I have to imagine this figure includes the FEL, does it not? Can anyone confirm? I'm trying to estimate the exact dimensions of the tractor itself as I would usually be storing it with just the MMM on, maybe the FEL as well, but not as likely as easy as it is to detach.

I'm like a little kid on Xmas eve....signing papers on Thursday, but my tractor is ready and waiting for delivery. Just have to go pick up the rake and blade later.

Hello again...you'll find many people on multiple tractor forums....we're all a bit obsessed. I believe the published dimensions are for the tractor only. The FEL is an optional attachment, the length/weight it adds are not included in the base numbers.

I guess what is throwing me off is the 57" wheelbase. I just don't see the extra 40" behind/ in front of the axles. Unless I'm thinking incorrectly. Or the three point sticks out that far.

Trying to picture it in my head, cause its dark and I'm feeling too lazy to go out tot he shed with a measuring tape! The only time I measured my set up I had the loader on, and a wallenstein bxm32 chipper/shredder. Together, that makes the longest combination of attachments I have. I was trying to see ho long it was for potentially picking out a trailer to haul it. All together, its was almost exactly 16 feet. According to the website, the chipper is 54" long...subtracting that, the tractor+loader is ~11.5 feet long...so yeah, I would guess the tractor is ~8 ft total length without the FEL.

8' overall I guess doesn't seem out of reach.

I was looking at 16' car trailers. Guessing that would be good to haul mine. I can't wait.

16' is kind of the default size trailer for these size machines. Try to think about the future, and what possible attachments you might find yourself using. For me, the chipper it probably the longest attachment I'll ever have. Its puts my set up at 16' long, so I am looking for an 18' trailer so I have a little wiggle room to allow me to adjust the tongue weight.

I'm guessing the 4' Bush Hog is quite an addition on the back. 18' would be ideal...or even 20' trailer, but I'll borrow dads for now if I need one I think.

There is a place not far from here selling a 20' x 82" trailer with dual 3500 lb axles, ramps, brakes, storage, etc...for 2000.

Don't forget wheelbase is axle to axle. Add 1/2 the diameter of the front and rear tire plus the front bumper and pto at the rear then you have the 40" added on.

If you have the money and the means to pull it, get that trailer for $2000. A little longer is always better so you have space to distribute the load properly. Different attachments will change the center of gravity and a longer trailer allows you to move it fore and aft to get proper tongue weight.
