I'm curious to know what "you do" that makes you an expert on how dealers run their business?

Please explain.

As for the original post, there are always two sides to every story. We only know one side so it is pointless to take sides or try to decipher what has happened. We know so little about this whole transaction and most everything is pure speculation. For one, I don't even know if the 4110 mentioned is a NEW tractor or used.

Perhaps you could please explain why you feel that boat, motorcycle and tractor dealers should not be allowed to make a higher margin of profit as I suggested. What part of the benefit of having the dealer there in the future is bothersome to you? Why would you feel that profit would be a dirty word for dealers? Why would you think that dealers should not be concerned with taking care of their customers after the sale?

Unlike hamburgers at McDonalds, tractors, boats and motorcycles are not particularly a high volume low profit items. I'm interested to hear why you feel that dealers should not make a fair profit on those items and be there in the future for their customers as I posted.
