I haven't decided just yet what kind of "toe" treatment I'll have. Right now it's been fun trying to play with the concept with regular old half inch hot roll.

The requirements of the customer on this particular project was for something that would include some feel for an oil boom town and being unique. So I was actually thinking each end would hang a sharp ninety and be a ball.

Of course a balled fist or paw..................

She does and she doesn't. She loves working around the house and we work well together there doing and making things.

But at the shop the only time she really gets in is when we're doing something that's really for her. Whether it's for her use or as a gift she's giving.

Our biggest conflict is she generally is she's like most folks. She sees something and she wants one of those just like the one she's looked at. I'm just the opposite. If someone else has made it then I'm not interested in making another unless I see an alternative or improvement. Heck, I don't even like making a second of something I've come up with.

So she tells me she wants something like this that will do that. Then the fun begins because I'm off on some tangent or going down a block to cross the street if you know what I mean. And of course most of the time she has no idea what's going on which makes her feel either I'm ignoring her input or I'm making what I want and not what she wants.

Sad thing is, sometimes she's right./w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

I've come to realize that in my situation having at least one of the principals in the marriage with their feet firmly on the ground is an advantage. I shudder to think what it would be like if both of us lived in the what if world.
