I would like to get some thoughts on this theoretical PT429. My concerns are since it was made from a 422, that the extra power would damage the wheel motors, pumps, etc. What do our experts say. It may be fine, I just would like to know.

Bob, I really don't think the additional HP would damage the pumps, cylinders or hydraulics in any way. It's not that significant a difference from the original design of the 425 which used the same components on the older models like mine..
However, because you could come closer on maxing the lift, PTO, and drive circuits simultaneously (by my calculations it would take more than 32, closer to 35 HP to simultaneously generate max pressure and max volume on all three pumps). This might put you in a situation for more abuse on that single steering cylinder. That would be my only real concern, not the other things...
BTW, I'm driving over in a few hours to get the stump-grinder and forks from Scarg's package, so I guess it's time I was in the sack... I hope to see his "beast"...
