Price Check Ford 1100 price

Im new to this tractor stuff! Found a early 80s 1100 4x4 with a FEL ,843hrs on the clock, good shape.Is this a good old tractor? Parts hard to find? They want $5800 Can. for it, is that fair? Mostly its just gonna be a toy around the yard, ooops! hope my wife doesnt see that!

Last year my dad sold an '81 1100 4x4 with 950 hours, good shape, with a small plow, disk, and rusted out 3-point finish mower for about $3200 U.S. Don't know about the conversion rate, but with a FEL, your's sounds like a good deal.

Parts were becoming a little more expensive and difficult to get (Missouri), but not significantly so. Lack of power steering will hinder loader use, and I doubt that it has a lift capacity of over 500 lbs, but it will still be MUCH more useful than a "toy around the yard" /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

Even with 11 pto hp, I was amazed at how much you could do with that tractor. Really tall grass would bog down the finish mower, but it was also useful for plowing, disking, etc. Don't know what we would have done without that little tractor. If it had a FEL, I would own that tractor now. Used FEL's for that tractor don't seem to exist.
