Mowing Ford 1120 belly mower?

Anyone out there know what model belly mower fits on a ford 1120

I believe the 916A fits the 1210 and 1110. I have the manual for a 916A, I'll check when I've got some time.

Well, the 916A fits the 1110 and 1210 according to the manual. I have a 916A I''m not using. You may also need a fair amount of hardware to hang it. PM me with your email address and I'll send you the relevent pages from the manual?

My 916A is listed here in the classifieds.

I'm a newbe on this Forum so not sure that I'm replying correctly.
I've recently been researching this thread with NH, to possibly add the mid deck to my 1120, and have learned the following:

1. The correct mid deck for a 1120 or 1220 is a 914 or 914A, 48" S Disch.
The Op Manual for the 914A is Pub 86563076.
The Parts Manual for the 48" 914 is Pub 58174202.
The 914A also came in 54" and 60" for larger 20 series tractors.
I don't yet know if the 914 is still available as a full installation kit.

2. The mid PTO is/was an optional (but slightly different internally) addition to either the hydro 2X2 or the manual 3X9 trannies. Don't yet know if it is still available. I'd need this for my 3X9.

The alternative would be to find a used or parts 1120 or 1220 having all these goodies and strip it before reselling the bare tractor.

! When I looked into midmount mowers for my old Ford 1100 I decided that I lost too much ground clearance to make the MMM practical. A Rear Finish Mower would probably be cheaper, easier to attach and detach, and would give you greater range and control of your cut. Jay

Wow, I can't believe I missed this thread. My 1100 came with a Continental-Belton MMM that runs off the rear PTO. While the mower itself seems very good (and their customer service was excellent, they sent me an owner's manual right away, free)...as jbrumberg points out, it eats up way too much ground clearance. With the belly mower mounted, I've got less than 2 inches of ground clearance with the mower fully raised. Now, i'm not mowing pasture, but my yard's not a golf course, either, so this lack of ground clearance is a real problem. I took the mower off (which is a minor hassle in itself) and eventually I'm going to make it into a rear mounted mower...
