I have a 1210 that is acting like what I would think be water in the fuel. It will idle ok but as soon as I start moving or engage the PTO it bogs down and looses power. I have changed the fuel filter and checked for dirty/clogged injectors and they seemed fine. At any rate it is starved for fuel. Any suggestions on what to look for? Thanks in advance.

Is your fuel cap venting okay? shut the valve off on the tank. Remove the rubber hose to the filter, get a cup under the rubber hose and open up the fuel valve. verify to see if you get a steady stream of fuel is coming out. I had the same condition once with my 1700. What I discovered was that a piece of rubber from the fuel tank came a part and was lodged in the fuel outlet pipe upstream of the shut off valve. I blew some compressed air from the hose back in to the tank and it opened right up.

JC,

Sounds more like an air leak in the fuel system than water in the fuel.

Thanks, I'll give that a try first thing in the morning.
