Ford 1210 cylinder head question

I had my cylinder head rebuild on my 1210 (machining was 150US and the parts were 500... )

The tractor didn't start at fist and after reading the forum I adjusted the valves.
Now the tractor starts after warming up the glow plugs a long time.
Once started, I get a lot of white smoke and then the engine runs great with no smoke at all.

My guess is that some of the glow plugs are not working great???
When I build my cylinder head, the glow plugs touched the injector prechamber (or nozzle), is this normal? There is no information in the repair manual regarding that step.
The prechamber seems to have nothing locking it in place either.

Can anyone shed some light on how the prechamber is held in place or how far the glow plug have to go inside the cylinder head?

I would suspect a glow plug problem. I don't know about a 1210 but if you search there are a lot of posts on testing the glow plugs.

I tested my glow plugs and they are working great.

My only concern is that when I installed the injectors back into their chambers, the glow plug was touching the prechamber. That is the only way I could see the prechamber could stay in place without moving out of it's spot.

I think I am missing something on the injector / prechamber / glowplug assembly.

If the glow plug is touching that prechamber, it will take a longer time and remove the efficiency of the glow plug, that might be my problem.

Now, if someone knew how the prechamber (the piece with all the holes in it) stays or is suppose to stay in the cylinder head, that would be a great help.
