I have a Ford 1210 4wd hydrostatic tractor that I'm mounting a 702a blade on. Bought the blade used but barely used.
The blade came with both up and down hydraulic cylinders and one for rotating the blade but, did not come with the spool valve.
Now, my problem is, I was not aware that some tractors have open center versus closed center valve systems. I bought a used dual spool valve off of a John Deere tractor. I don't know what specific tractor it came off of. Since I already have both the spool valve and the blade, will I screw up my tractor hydraulics by attempting to install this spool valve if, they are not compatible?
New to this hydraulics thing. Figure I better ask before I bite off more than I can chew.
Edited: Should have asked before I bought the valve but, didn't know any better.
