Reaching here, as these tractors are now almost 40 years old, so probably not a lot of current owners out there
I've been searching, and looking at the parts diagrams on the New Holland website, but not finding what I am after.
I have a 1300 4x4 with the factory 770 loader (built by SMC/Alamo Group). The original Dukes loader valve is having issues, and I bought a Prince to replace it that has a power beyond port.
The quick version is that I am looking for a port on the transmission housing that I can use for my tank return. The factory valve is open center, and is inline with the original flow path for the 3 point lift (no power beyond). I have adapted a Rhino 60c backhoe to it, and it currently simply goes in series after loader valve, then back in line with the 3 point circuit (when I have the backhoe mounted). I am concerned about the new valve having a rated max of 500 psi on the tank port, and even with the 3 point only, I don't want to risk damaging the new, expensive valve. I'm speculating that this is what damaged my original valve...
SOooooo... I am looking for a "tank" port I can easily tie onto for my tank return line of the new loader valve, and the backhoe valve if/when I reconfigure it to power beyond as well. I guess worst case, I could pull the transmission top cover off and have a couple ports machined into it, but I would like to avoid that if at all possible.
Thanks for your help-
Chad
