i just purchased aford 1300 tractor with a loader and backhoe. this little tractor has low hours and i am very happy with it. i didsome research on the net and they all say it is very important to keep watch of the oil in the injection pump. i have the operator manual and it mentions nothing about servicing the injection pump. could someone clue me in on its location and how to change and check the oil in it. i understand it takes the same oil as the engine. appreciate any help, thanks.

My shop manual includes the 1300 and does not list the 1300 as having the oil drain screws. On my 1700, there are two small screws, one near the bottom and the other halfway up the side of the pump. Change interval is 200 hours for the oil same grade as engine oil). On some of the injector pumps the screw holes were cored but not drilled or tapped.
If you like I can take a photo and circle the screw locations if you like. I provided the information so you can verify if you have the same drain and level screws that are on my injector pump.
