Hey guys, I have recently acquired a 1990 Ford 1520. I am trying to find out how the battery cover is situated in this thing.

Item number 6 in the diagram or part #SBA389410070 is currently just sitting in front of the battery. it just does not seem correct for it to sit loose in the battery compartment. Does it go in front of the battery? Or between the battery and the radiator?
