Question: On my 1700 (2 wd), on the front axle, facing forward, is a grease fitting on each side (one each, left and right side).
I had one that was bad, and unscrewed it, and then tried to screw in a new one. However, it appears I have the wrong thread for this- I think I only had a SAE thread, and perhaps the grease fitting is metric.
I am thinking it is about a 10mm metric thread. I need to run up and buy some metric-if that is the correct thread.
Can anyone confirm what the thread is on this grease fitting?
